Terms of Use
Effective July 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Glean applications and service. By creating an account or using Glean, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for access to the Apple account or email address you use to sign in, your devices, and activity performed through your Glean account. Provide accurate information and notify support if you believe the account has been compromised.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you save. You give Glean a limited permission to host, copy, extract, transform, and process that content only as needed to provide and improve the service you requested. You must have the right to save and process the content and must not use Glean to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or platform restrictions.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, probe or bypass security, interfere with other users or infrastructure, upload malware, automate abusive traffic, or use Glean to store or distribute unlawful or harmful material. Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
Automated results
Titles, summaries, topics, entities, and connections may be produced by automated systems and can be incomplete or wrong. They are organizational aids, not professional, legal, medical, financial, or factual advice. Check important information against its original source.
Subscriptions
Glean may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple. The app shows the plan, billing period, current price, and included features before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it in your App Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
If a subscription ends, your account returns to the applicable lower item limit. Existing saved items remain available, but new saves may be paused while your library is above that limit. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refund eligibility are administered by Apple under its applicable terms and policies.
Availability and changes
Glean is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Features may change, and temporary interruptions may occur. Reasonable care is taken to protect saved data, but you should keep independent copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending use
You may stop using Glean or delete your account at any time. Glean may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations of these terms, security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity resulting from use of Glean. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing rules
These terms are governed by applicable law without overriding mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised with support so there is an opportunity to resolve them informally.
